Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join the Implementation Services and Support team. Depending on experience, this individual may also serve as a Project Lead or Senior Consultant on client engagements.

This role leads consulting teams in the successful implementation of Workforce Technology Systems. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, recommending best practices, managing project plans, overseeing system configuration and testing, and ensuring successful delivery and deployment. The Project Manager partners closely with clients to align solutions with business needs and provides training and end-user support throughout the implementation process.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead consulting teams through successful implementations of Workforce Technology Systems
- Develop, track, and report on project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Analyze client needs and assist in the implementation of technical systems, software, and solutions
- Evaluate requirements and recommend system configurations aligned to business processes
- Define and execute delivery and implementation plans
- Oversee testing strategies and troubleshooting for system setup and deployment
- Ensure delivery of training and end-user support during and post implementation
- Support pre-sales efforts including product demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver weekly status updates and client presentations
- Stay current on emerging technologies that improve client operations
- Primarily remote role with 10–20% travel (domestic and occasional international)

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Workforce Management Systems (e.g., Reflexis, Legion, UKG, Blue Yonder, Ceridian, Workbrain, etc.)
- Background in labor management, forecasting, scheduling, timekeeping, and workforce systems
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Retail industry experience
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles (labor standards, MOST, time studies)
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools
