Our large pharmaceutical client is seeking a Lab Scientist to join their growing Bioanalytical Discovery & Development Sciences team in Spring House, PA. This Scientist will work as part of the immunogenicity assessment team to support all validation and life cycle activities of PCR assays for the development of biological drugs. Responsibilities include:
1. Development and optimization of qPCR and RT-qPCR assays
2. Perform validations for qPCR and RT-qPCR assays in compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and federal GLP/GCP guidelines
3. Processing of samples for DNA/RNA extraction from tissues and various matrices, DNA/RNA quantification, qPCR setup with precise manual pipetting skills and/or automated plate set up.
4. Bioanalysis of non-clinical and clinical samples
5. Data analysis, Documentation and reporting -- ELNs, LIMS etc.

-MS with 1+ years of experience or BS with 3+ years of experience in biochemistry, biophysics, immunology, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, or a related field
-Experience with PCR/Molecular Biology
-Tissue extraction experience
-Highly organized, independent, and detail oriented
-Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, willing to learn new techniques, have great time management and communication skills
-Experience supporting gene and cell therapy - CAR T cell therapies
-Understanding of GLP regulations related to assay validation and sample analysis
-Experience with digital PCR and instrument automation
-Experience with electronic lab notebooks and reagent managemen
