Insight Global is seeking a IAM Operations Specialist to sit fully remote for one of our retail clients. This candidate is responsible for providing end user support, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis of moderately complex IAM-related requests and incidents across the organization. This role involves tasks such as account management, password management, access lifecycles, authentication and authorization support, entitlement management, and non-employee identity management. Additionally, the specialist will act as an escalation point to provide assistance and guidance to junior team members. The specialist will assist and participate in operational workflow refinement for task optimization. The specialist will assist in maintaining compliance with security policies, implementing process improvements, and support IAM solutions to enhance identity and access operational efficiency.
Additional responsibilities
- Serve as initial point and escalation technical resource for challenging or high-priority Identity and Access Management tasks, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assisting junior team members to develop skills and capabilities.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of IAM Operations processes; participate, support, and assist in the refinement of processes and documentation.
- Develop and implement continuous improvements by optimizing workflows and reducing manual effort through automation while coordinating with IAM teams, IT, and other business units to ensure seamless Identity and Access Management processes.
- Develop and maintain team documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, end-user training materials, and job aids for identity operations tasks to deliver consistent and scalable experiences.
- Participate in Implementation / Deployment / Documentation projects as assigned.
- Monitor identity systems and processes, identifying trends; reporting potential issues to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with senior IAM team members ensuring clear and effective communication regarding identity-related issues.
- Provide evening and weekend on call/issue support as needed.
