Job Description

A client in Allentown, NJ is looking to bring on a Quality Inspector to join their team. This will be a permanent position, working on the 2nd shift between 10:30am - 7:00pm. This individual will be responsible for performing visual inspections, determining product accessibility, and reporting inspection findings.

Additional Responsibilities:
· Perform visual inspection on products including PCB fabrication, electronic components, mechanical assemblies, cable and wiring, and each of their placements, orientation, and attachment to PCBAs
· Determine product acceptability using company designed parts, departmental procedures, traveler/ shop router, and industry standard IPC-A-610
· Support production demands
· Maintain department tools and equipment

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with PCB assembly of components
• Minimum 2 years of previous quality inspection experience
· IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity
· Familiarity with printed circuit board assembly
· Comfortable with visual inspection using a stereo microscope

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Ability to read and understand instructions that are in written, pictured or drawing format.
· Strong computer skills including: Photo/document storage and file transfer and Microsoft Office.
· Familiarity with optical microscopes, digital camera, digital microscope camera, Microsoft Office, file transfers, document/photo storage
