Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Workday Financials Analyst for a large supply chain management client of ours. The Workday Financials Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Workday Financial Management system. This role acts as a critical link between Finance and IT teams, ensuring accurate financial processes and delivering actionable insights. The analyst will manage system support, develop financial reports, oversee integrations, conduct testing, and implement new features to enhance automation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• System Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Workday Financials, manage support tickets, and maintain system integrity.
• Configuration & Development: Configure Workday Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement) and related business processes.
• Reporting: Design, build, and maintain custom financial reports and dashboards for analysis and compliance.
• Integrations: Define, test, and maintain data flows between Workday Financials and other ERP or third-party systems.
• Testing: Perform functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) for updates, new features, and system upgrades.
• Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver effective financial solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working as a strong senior or lead level workday financials analyst
• Strong understanding of Workday Financials modules and functionality.
• Proficiency in Workday reporting and financial data analysis.
• Familiarity with integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB) and financial data flows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Financials or SAP Financials is a plus.
• Experience partnering with Finance, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver effective financial solutions
