As a Wax Pattern Assembler & Repair Technician, you will:
Prepare and assemble wax patterns and soluble cores.
Use fixtures to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Repair and restore patterns to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pattern Assembly & Finishing
Read and follow Tech Cards and engineering instructions.
Assemble wax components using fixtures for accuracy.
Modify patterns using hand tools and wax materials.
Inspect work using gauges and measuring devices.
Occasionally insert ceramic cores (TBO only).
Repair & Restoration
Fix broken or damaged patterns and cores.
Reconstruct missing features using wax welding.
Fill voids and reshape contours with wax materials.
Cleaning & Surface Finishing
Remove surface imperfections (flash, mismatch, etc.).
Patch and fill using paint wax, hot pencils, and tools.
Restore dimensions and plug holes as needed.
Ensure all work meets visual and dimensional standards.
Serialization
Apply serial numbers using wax pads or stamps per instructions.
Safety & PPE
Follow all plant and department safety rules.
Use equipment and tools safely.
Report any safety concerns.
Required PPE: Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes.
Optional PPE (for soluble cleaning): Gloves, long sleeves, goggles, mask.
Additional Duties
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Train new or less experienced team members.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Experience as a Wax Cleaner or Wax Assembler "C" (non-TBO), or equivalent training.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and measuring devices.
Ability to follow detailed instructions (written and verbal).
Good manual dexterity.
Able to lift/move 3050 lbs regularly, up to 125 lbs occasionally.
Comfortable working in environments with noise, fumes, chemicals, and potential for minor injuries.
This role will require candidates to complete a 5 panel drug test including THC.
