REMOTE Sr. SDET (Java)

A client is looking for a Sr. SDET to join their team! This is a full time remote opportunity to work with an expanding team. In this position you will be working in a technology stack that consists of but is not limited to: Java, Selenium, Gatling, SQL, MySQL, Rest APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GIT, and more! In this role we are looking for a Senior SDET who has experience building automation frameworks from the ground up and helping to build out frameworks for their roadmap agile teams. This company is in a self-hosted cloud environment in AWS. As a Sr. SDET you will be automating and collaborating with teams. In this role you will also be doing code automation, and be able to solve at the core framework level the automation they are putting into place. This individual would also be building the framework others are going to be using for automation. In this role you will be working on a web based rich web ui - which is an interface that is more transactional than a website.

5+ years of experience as an SDET
Able to build automation frameworks from the ground up and experience with white box testing, unit testing, etc.
4+ years of Java coding skills
4+ years of experience with Selenium
4+ years of Gatling experience or similar (JMeter, Loadrunner, etc.)
4+ years of SQL experience: stored procs, querying, storing data, retrieving data, graph databases
Strong communication skills
Experience integrating test automation seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to streamline and accelerate the delivery process (Team City)

Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and distributed systems
Familiar with Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architectures
Kubernetes Application Developer Certified (CKAD)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
DevOps experience
Kubernetes
CI/CD
