Job Description

A manufacturing company local to Portland is looking for a Maintenance Technician to play a critical role in delivering high-quality service and support to customers across various industries, including restaurants, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, and grocery stores. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial dish machines and chemical dispensing systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
Install and service chemical dispensers and dish machines (from under-counter units to large conveyor systems).
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Respond to urgent service calls during business hours and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend support.
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
Report incidents or accidents promptly and adhere to site-specific safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in warewash, laundry systems, or similar mechanical service roles preferred.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Experience with voltmeter, multimeter, or oscilloscope
Must pass a DOT physical every two years.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate hand trucks.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and confined spaces.
