Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive Demand Planner to lead forecasting and demand planning efforts across products, customers, and channels, ensuring the business has the right inventory in the right place at the right time. This individual will build and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, sales inputs, and customer demand signals, translating these into actionable supply and inventory plans. They will play a key role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align on demand trends, risks, and fulfillment priorities. The Demand Planner will collaborate closely with domestic and international suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely production, shipment, and delivery while proactively mitigating supply chain risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication across teams and time zones, and a hands-on approach to improving forecasting accuracy, supply visibility, and overall planning discipline. This role is fully onsite in Portland and will pay up to $140,000/yr.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, inventory planning, procurement, or related operations roles
· Strong hands-on experience in forecasting, demand planning, and cross-functional supply chain execution
· Experience working with suppliers and/or manufacturers in Asia
· Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers on inbound shipments to the U.S.
· Strong understanding of inventory management, supply risk, and inbound logistics
· Experience participating in or leading S&OP or similar cross-functional planning processes
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, MRP, and inventory/planning systems preferred
· Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams, suppliers, and time zones
· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing, and hands-on environment
