Job Description

An employer is seeking a Structural Engineering Department Manager to join their team in the Lake Oswego area. As part of their full-service engineering design and consulting firm, you’ll manage a team contributing to projects across various industries, including pulp and paper, industrial, power, and chemical markets. While serving as the Structural Engineering Department Manager, your responsibilities will involve insuring completion of the departments projects from start to finish, managing the direction of the department and interacting with clients.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
5+ years in Industrial work (ex: pulp & paper, oil & gas, mining, electronics & high tech, renewable energy)
2+ years of experience leading or managing a team of people.
Professional Engineering (PE) license and Structural Engineering (SE) license.
Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in Risa 3D and Revit or strong motivation to learn.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
