Job Description

A global life sciences company is looking for a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair electron microscopes for life and material sciences customers. This field-based role requires travel across Northern France, with occasional support across Europe. Youll work independently, document all service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (FSE), Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
- 1+ years of experience with electron microscopy products.
- Strong electronics knowledge.
- Experience doing maintenance and troubleshooting of electronics components.
- Ability to travel within the region regularly (75% travel, car provided).
- Fluent in French and intermediate comfort in English.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experienced engineer/technician in electronics and physical measurements.
- Experience in clean rooms.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems on complex electronic and mechanical instruments.
