Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, local to Hillsboro, OR to support the maintenance, repair and problem solving in the Metrology, Automation and Data Solutions group.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a long term career opportunity with a leading technology company. This position would be great for someone who is a go-getter and likes to work independently on complex problems and troubleshooting.

The day-to-day of this role will require interfacing with clients regarding projects and tools on-site. This person will also be responsible for troubleshooting tools when there are electrical, mechanical and electronic errors.

Required Skills & Experience

Two to three years of hands on experience with electronic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and a deep understanding of engineering principles

Either an Associates of Electronics Engineering, Physics, or other STEM focused field, and/or relevant military experience

Two to three years of customer service experience where they are responsible for deescalating and can clearly communicate both written and verbally.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in Metrology toolsets
