Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for networked digital audio-visual processing equipment and related accessory products.
How you'll contribute:
• Collaborate within an agile team to deliver high-quality products on schedule
• Design and document software architecture and technical specifications
• Develop UI/UX components using React, HTML, and CSS, applying object-oriented principles and standard design patterns
• Build and maintain server-side applications using JavaScript and Node.js
• Optimize database queries and design schemas using PostgreSQL and GraphQL
• Create scalable, responsive user interfaces leveraging SVG and other graphic formats
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cline, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Define unit test cases and implement automated testing to validate designs
• Contribute to common technologies, tools, and processes for new product development

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience developing commercial software
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and backend service development
• Experience with PostgreSQL and GraphQL for database design and optimization
• Knowledge of SVG graphics and vector-based rendering for web applications
• Ability to work within large, object-oriented codebases
• Experience developing in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred)
• Skilled in debugging using breakpoints and code stepping
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with AI coding assistants and modern AI-driven workflows
• Familiarity with C/C++ and standard template libraries
• Background in audio-visual technologies
