Remote Mobile QA Engineer

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Remote Quality Assurance Engineer to join their product engineering team. This role involves ensuring high-quality marketplace/mobile applications (iOS and Android) by supporting onboarding, payment processing, and the purchasing journey. Responsibilities include manual testing for mobile apps and automated testing for other systems, ensuring the reliability of shipping inventory systems and shopping cart functionalities. The ideal candidate has experience in mobile app testing, strong problem-solving skills, a passion for music, excellent communication abilities, and can work independently.

- 4+ years of experience in iOS and Android mobile application testing
- Test automation experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, or Beautiful Soup
- Strong understanding of data validation techniques, including SQL and NoSQL
- Knowledge of validating user interfaces built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for both desktop and mobile platforms
- Comprehensive knowledge of media authoring, hosting, and delivery

- 2+ years in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments
- Accessibility, multi-currency, taxation, and end-to-end testing
- Background in music or the music industry, or a passionate music lover
