Job Description

The Facilities Technician 4 is responsible for supporting continuous semiconductor manufacturing operations by maintaining and optimizing critical facilities systems within a 115,000-square-foot cleanroom environment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of utilities, environmental controls, and life-safety systems, with a strong focus on uptime and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain facilities systems supporting a large-scale semiconductor cleanroom
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on critical equipment including chillers, CDA systems, boilers, air handlers, UPS systems, control systems, and exhaust scrubbers
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across utility plant systems and supporting infrastructure
Maintain and monitor life-safety systems, including fire alarm systems and hazardous gas detection systems
Support operation of automated building and environmental control systems (air handlers, cooling systems, VFDs, etc.)
Plan, schedule, execute, and document preventive maintenance activities
Analyze system performance data and support continuous improvement initiatives
Perform data entry and maintain accurate maintenance and operational records
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process and area improvement efforts
Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations during night shift coverage

Pay ranges from 35-48/hr based on qualifications and years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience or education in mechanical, electrical, and/or controls systems
- Experience working with industrial utility systems and facility equipment
- Working knowledge of RODI and AWN systems
- Understanding of automated systems including HVAC, environmental controls, chillers, process cooling water, and VFDs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication environments
- Experience working in cleanroom environments
- Basic knowledge of control systems (PLC, HMI)
- Electrical troubleshooting and instrumentation experience
