Manage all accounting functions in order to prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for all PPP entities.
Hire, develop and provide performance reviews for direct reports.
Develop & maintain accounting policies, procedures and work flow processes in order to assure accurate and complete financial reporting with strong internal controls.
Manage the preparation, review, accuracy and timeliness of the annual budget and multi year financial forecasting.
Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting methodologies for administrative expenses used in financial reporting, pricing and administrative expense benchmark surveys.
Coordinate and collaborate with Finance Analytics and Underwriting to assure coordinate of estimates and analysis used in financial reporting are accounted for accurately and timely.
Manage and/or participate in projects impacting accounting and financial reporting including system upgrades, conversions, implementation of new products and new business requirements.
Primary contact for all financial audits performed by internal audit, external auditors and regulatory auditors.
Review and approve all documents supporting month end close and accurate financial reporting including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
Responsible for providing financial data and reporting as needed to senior leadership, PH&S System Office and Regulatory reporting agencies.
Develop and achieve annual accounting department budget.
Develop and monitor accounting department performance standards.
