Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to join a top automotive client on a contract basis. This resource will be joining the software development team specifically apart of a small team of developers working on app support. You will have the opportunity to work on several challenging projects including improving build times, refactoring software components, and improving code quality. As a Software Engineer on the IVI Apps team, you will be involved in full lifecycle of Software Development building the future generations to deliver a best-in-class infotainment system.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years experience as a software engineer

- 2+ years programming in C++/ Kotlin

Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Vagrant, GitHub Actions and knowledge of pipelines.

- Experience with unit-testing and mock frameworks

- Strong communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Soong experience

- Android building AOSP

- Proficiency with build languages like Maven, Gradle, Ant, Cmake, Ninja, Autotools etc.
