Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Manager, Vendor Management to join a leading Canadian financial institution, supporting vendor strategy, governance, and SOW oversight within a high-volume digital environment. This individual will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, driving governance processes, and ensuring quality, compliance, and value across all engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and build relationships with strategic vendors while ensuring accountability and performance outcomes
Lead vendor governance forums and facilitate performance discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Review Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure scope clarity, cost alignment, and risk mitigation
Ensure all agreements are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with internal standards
Support and lead complex SOW negotiations and remediation efforts
Execute structured governance and approval processes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Develop executive-ready reporting and Vendor 360 summaries for senior leadership
Present insights and drive outcomes in leadership forums
Partner cross-functionally with Sourcing, SRM, Finance, and Delivery teams to drive alignment and decisions
Act as a central escalation point for vendor-related issues and resolutions
Manage weekly approval cadences, reporting cycles, and governance workflows with strong attention to detail
Leverage data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements and automation opportunities
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting platforms

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, or procurement within a large enterprise
Strong expertise in SOW structures (T&M, fixed deliverable, fixed cap) and rate cards
Proven experience reviewing and negotiating SOWs with a focus on risk and compliance
Experience running governance forums and managing vendor performance
Strong analytical and decision-making skills in high-volume environments
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence without direct authority
Highly organized with strong ownership and follow-through

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience within financial services or banking
Exposure to vendor governance frameworks or SRM functions
Experience managing teams or leading junior resources
