Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Supply & Procurement Specialist will act as the primary contact for Infrastructure supply plans which support our clients' mass production builds at its data centers locations globally. As a Supply & Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with key XFN partners supporting owner-furnished equipment, spares, and fiber/non-fiber cabling to enable the data center construction build-outs. Responsibilities include communication and execution for the supply plan ensuring the right product at the right place at the right time. This person will execute data driven decisions in support of day-to-day operations and fulfillment activities while tying out with XFN stakeholders in support of order management. This position is part of the Infra Supply Chain & Engineering team reporting to the Manager, Mechanical/Connectivity/Spares Supply Chain.

* Accountable for creating, communicating and monitoring detailed supply plans across the vendor base (forecast, commits, build plan, backlog and PO creation), ensuring business goals are achieved and driving timely & accurate supply communications.

* Collaborate with internal customers to understand and effectively drive and execute supply priorities across the supply base.

* Proactively track and report data for on-time delivery, D/S Coverage including risks to Demand Plan and schedule push-outs, Cost Performance, Fund management, etc.

* Support Integrated Business Planning process development, adoption and maturity within the Infrastructure team.

* Support business requirements development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of planning, inventory and S&OP-like processes, tools, and systems to support multiple supply chains within the Infrastructure team.

* Work with IT system developers to spec, implement, and validate new tools/systems.

* Prepare process workflows and associated documentation.

* Perform data analysis and drive processes optimization.

* Develop and manage short and long-term supply and demand models, in partnership with Demand Planning team that seek to maintain service levels requirements for our customers. This includes development and refinement of business processes, demand/supply impact simulations and analysis, interface and communication of the requirements throughout supply chain and XFN stakeholders.

* Drive product success by keeping ourselves and others accountable for metrics such as quarterly financial variance, inventory utilization, delivery performance, supply/demand coverage, cost performance, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in Supply Chain domain

Experience in supply planning, inventory optimization and operational supplier management

BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience

Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present to various levels

Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes (scheduling, warehousing, fulfillment, reverse logistics)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience at a Tech company in a similar role!

MBA/Masters in a related field

Experience in project management and Production/Planning MRP

Understanding of Construction lifecycle
