Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a strong resource to support development and enhancement of core transaction management systems across equities, listed derivatives, and OTC products. The successful candidate will own delivery of complex features and modules end-to-end in C# and Java, with the ability to read, debug, and contribute to C++ components where required. You will be driving solutions across the full trade lifecycle including trade capture, booking, position management, P&L, and settlement as well as translating the front office and operations requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. You will also contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and cross-team delivery planning. The successful candidate will be able to be on site downtown Toronto 2 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience
7 or more years of software development experience in capital markets or financial services.
Primary strength in C# and Java, with working knowledge of C++ (debug, troubleshoot etc)
Deep domain expertise across equities and derivatives Hands-on experience with the trade lifecycle from execution through settlement
SQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Sophis, Murex, Calypso, or similar enterprise trading platform experience.
FIX protocol or market connectivity knowledge.
