Sr. Program Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Program Specialist for a Home Financing program at a Big 5 Bank in Canada to play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This position demands expertise in data analytics, particularly with Power BI, to streamline reporting and visualize performance metrics of third-party appraisal management companies (AMCs).
Key Responsibilities: • Operations Management: Handle appraisal escalations and requests, managing approximately 500 escalations monthly with a 24-hour service level agreement (SLA). Collaborate effectively with AMC third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate appraisals.
• Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize advanced data analytics skills to ingest internal data and create insightful dashboards using Power BI. The specialist will be responsible for developing metrics that visualize AMC performance, enabling informed decision-making.
• Strategic Support: Align data insights with strategic objectives by constructing comprehensive dashboards that highlight AMC performance.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis, such as optimizing vendor engagement based on cost-effectiveness and turnaround times. Qualifications:

• Proven experience in program management or a related field, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to interpret contracts and requirements to identify opportunities for operational improvements.

• 3+ years professional experience, ideally within banking/financial institutions
• Understanding of home financing customer journeys • Experience utilizing Power BI
• Strong presentation skills and experience presenting findings and strategic recommendations to senior level stakeholders Operations experience
