Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Market Researcher for a Big 5 Banking client. In this role, you will serve as a key research partner driving strategic insights for new insurance products and related financial offerings. You’ll combine deep market research expertise with UX research collaboration to inform product design, pricing, and positioning decisions. This position requires a balance of quantitative rigor and qualitative exploration, ensuring that both market trends and user behaviors shape the end-to-end product experience.

• Lead market research initiatives focused on insurance products and new lines of business, applying both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover market gaps, consumer needs, and competitive insights.
• Design and execute conjoint analysis studies and other advanced quantitative research techniques to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with UX Researchers to align market insights with user experience findings, ensuring cohesive recommendations for product design and development.
• Conduct end-to-end research from scoping and study design to data collection, analysis, and synthesis, delivering actionable insights that guide product strategy and go-to-market decisions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage research logistics, including participant recruitment, screening, and cost optimization.
• Present research findings clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, using storytelling and data visualization to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Maintain and oversee research governance, including backlog management, prioritization of studies, and documentation of methodologies and outcomes.
• Support UX testing activities (usability, A/B testing, interviews) as needed, ensuring integration of market and user insights for holistic product development.
Explore and recommend innovative tools and approaches (e.g., market simulators, Qualtrics) to enhance research efficiency and impact.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of market research experience
2-3+ years UX research experience
Conjoint analysis study experience
Experience employing various UX Research methodologies (usability testing, unmoderated, A/B, interviews, etc.)
End-to-end product experience, supporting designs from ideation to launch
Strength in clearly presenting research, justifying ideas in cross-functional settings, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bilingual French (big plus)
Qualtrics experience
