Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Project Manager to join a leading financial institution in Toronto, ON on a 6-month contract basis. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing project execution, managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and allocating resources efficiently. You will be working with both internal and external partners and stakeholders, fostering relationships and ensuring deliverables are met. This Sr Data Project Manager will bring expertise in leading data transformations and have a strong understanding of data analytics, data governance, and data management fundamentals. Hybrid in downtown Toronto, ON 1-2x/week as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
-8+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in large enterprise
-Previous experience managing project financials ($4 million+)
-Strong understanding of data analytics, data governance, and data management fundamentals
-Previous experience supporting muti-year data transformation programs
-Previous FI experience
-Strong communication and presentation skills, able to hit the ground running with little ramp-up time
-Able to work onsite 1-2x/week in downtown Toronto, ON
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-PMP certification
-Azure/AWS/GCP experience
-Alteryx experience
-Power BI and/or Tableau experience
