Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Audio Visual (AV) Engineer to support a leading bank in Toronto. This role owns the engineering, standardization, and solution design of a complex enterprise AV ecosystem within a windows based environment. You will lead standards development, validate solutions in the lab, and guide upgrades of legacy rooms to modern AV—delivering scalable, reliable designs across towers and floors.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years as a Senior AV Engineer / AV Architect / AV Systems Integrator in enterprise environments with proven delivery of permanent engineered AV solutions
• 3+ years deploying/supporting Windows based MTR systems.
• 2–3+ years designing/supporting Q SYS environments
• Hands on with Crestron Flex MTR (Windows) and Microsoft Surface Hub
• Experience validating MTR room designs, peripherals, and integrations.
• Multi camera room experience with tracking, switching, and logic based automation.
• Ability to read line drawings, validate against standards, and produce compliant design recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Dante audio networking (subscriptions, clocking, VLAN/QoS)
• Ability to validate AV network requirements and port configurations.
• Experience working with integrators (e.g., Diversified): overseeing installs, BOM validation, commissioning sign off.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with IPTV, broadcast technologies, video walls, and video streaming.
• Certifications such as AQAV 9000 CQD/CQT.
