Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join a large, global technology client, sitting in their Toronto location. The successful candidate will be joining a group focused on research, building prototypes, and evaluating novel interactions from human experiences in virtual and augmented reality. The successful candidate will design, build, document, integrate, and support reusable software components for interactive experiences in AR/VR that leverage artificial intelligence. This role involves collaboration with researchers, designers, and software engineers. The candidate will have experience working with cloud infrastructures and the ability to write clean and reliable code.

BSc degree in Computer Science or related field

3+ years of experience with C++, Python, or Rust

Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure, and microservices

Familiarity with big distribution systems

Experience deploying machine learning models

Experience with developing on a variety of platforms and frameworks (e.g. Android, iOS, React, Alexa)

Experience with full stack web development and cloud computing services (e.g. AWS)
