Senior Data Architecture Lead

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Analytics Leader to join a leading financial services organization supporting a high-impact Wealth Management Intelligent Data Platform (IDP) initiative. This individual will lead the design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions, driving AI-enabled transformation across wealth and investment domains.

This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to confidently engage stakeholders and lead a global team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, collaborative leader, and strategic thinker who can drive results without being overly abrasive or confrontational.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute enterprise data strategy aligned to wealth management and digital transformation goals
• Design scalable, secure data architectures and modernize legacy platforms using AWS
• Build and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python
• Lead large-scale data integration, migration, and data platform development (data lakes/warehouses)
• Develop and deploy advanced analytics, machine learning models, and AI-driven solutions
• Establish data governance, quality, security, and compliance frameworks
• Optimize data pipelines and system performance for scalability and efficiency
• Lead and mentor global data teams (30+), driving delivery of the Wealth IDP workstream
• Partner with business stakeholders and executives to deliver data solutions aligned to business needs

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and analytics leadership roles
• Proven experience leading large-scale data platform implementations (AWS-based)
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
○ AWS Glue, Spark / PySpark, Spark SQL
○ Python
○ Data lakes and warehouse architectures
• Experience leading enterprise data modernization programs
• Prior experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, global teams and complex initiatives
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in presentations and stakeholder engagement

• Exposure to Intelligent Data Platforms (IDP) or similar enterprise data programs
• Background in investment products, digital onboarding, or financial analytics
