Senior Business Architect

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Business Architect to join a leading financial institution in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in strategic environments and can translate business strategy into actionable architecture and operating models. The successful candidate will lead business architecture consulting engagements across strategic business units and functional groups, facilitate current state assessments, design target-state frameworks, and develop transformation roadmaps. They will also partner with technology teams to ensure architectural alignment, support business planning and initiative sequencing, and contribute to the development of meaningful metrics and governance processes. The role involves guiding project planning, conducting research and benchmarking, and helping evolve the business architecture practice through reusable assets and best practices. Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team structure.

-5+ years of experience in business architecture or related strategic roles within the financial industry
-Strong understanding of financial services operations and regulatory environments
-Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
-Must be able to work onsite in downtown Toronto 2-3x/week

-MBA
-Background in risk or controls
-Project management experience
