Senior Business Analyst

Insight Global is hiring an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Investment Management / Wealth Management to support a new AI‑driven initiative focused on risk monitoring, market intelligence, and workflow automation.
You’ll work directly with Portfolio Managers and Senior Investment Analysts, helping transform early AI‑assisted workflows into a scalable, enterprise-ready cognitive automation platforms (Agents). This is a highly collaborative role for someone confident leading discussions, gathering complex requirements, and documenting clear functional specifications.

AI/ML expertise is not required - just curiosity, strong analytical skills, and comfort using tools like Copilot or ChatGPT.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts to understand workflows, pain points, and automation opportunities.
- Break down existing AI‑assisted prototypes/POCs and help define a functional vision for scalable, enterprise-ready tools.
- Document business and functional requirements using standard templates (Word/Excel).
- Support proof‑of‑concept work, GUI design discussions, and roadmap planning.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for data, engineering, and UX teams.
- Contribute to features involving real‑time market data, event monitoring, quick lookbacks, and automated insights.
- Define data‑querying needs and collaborate on integrations with cloud-based data platforms.
- Participate in testing, validation, and iterative improvement of AI-enabled workflows.

- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
- Experience working closely with Investment Analysts, PMs, or Risk/Research teams.
- Strong understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds, ETFs, CDRs, etc.), research workflows, and market data.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable leading discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to turn ideas or POCs into clear documentation and structured requirements.
- Familiarity with dashboards, data analysis, or front-end interface concepts.
- Comfort using generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) or eagerness to learn.
- Strong data fluency is a plus.
