Job Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through automated and manual testing. The role combines automation skills with functional testing expertise. This is a remote role for a large QSR company working EST hours.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, Support and QA teams to ensure quality as per acceptance criteria.
• Identify, record, and track bugs/defects using standard tools (JIRA.).
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and testing.
• Ensure test coverage for new and existing features.
• Write clear documentation for test plans, test cases, and reports.

-Experience with test automation tools:
-Selenium WebDriverIO
-Appium (mobile)
-API testing experience: Postman or Rest
-Bug & Test Management: JIRA, BrowserStack
-CI/CD tools experience: CircleCI, GitHub Actions
-Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
-Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-Feature Management: LaunchDarkly

-Working experience in retail-restaurant tech domain (nice to have)
