Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join a top bank in downtown Toronto on their Liquidity team to support daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory and statutory reporting. This is a data heavy, technically hands on role supporting liquidity and treasury reporting, regulatory change implementation, and ongoing enhancements to reporting processes and technology.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Technology, balancing independent execution with collaborative delivery in a fast paced regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Liquidity Reporting
• Perform daily monitoring of pledging activities
• Support H4 and SHR daily regulatory reporting
• Contribute to U3 and GDAL quarterly regulatory reporting
• Assist with quarterly asset encumbrance reports for MD&A, Supplementary Package and notes to financial statements

Data Analysis & Technology
• Work extensively with large, complex datasets to support reporting accuracy and completeness
• Query and analyze data using SQL
• Perform data analysis and validation; create insights to support regulatory submissions
• Support QA testing for newly implemented regulatory reports and reporting software
• Partner with Technology teams to incorporate enhancements, fixes, and regulatory changes
• Help implement new regulatory requirements, returns, and reporting changes

Process & Stakeholder Support
• Ensure strong controls, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation
• Balance independent execution with collaborative work across Finance, Risk, and Technology teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience within a financial institution supporting regulatory reporting in Finance or Risk
• Strong experience working with large datasets in data intensive environments
• Hands on experience querying data using SQL
• Solid data analysis skills and high technical comfort level
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage recurring regulatory deliverables
• Strong attention to detail and comfort operating in a highly regulated environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a self-starter mentality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience within Treasury and/or Liquidity functions
• Familiarity with LCR, NCCF, or other liquidity metrics
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools
• Exposure to Axiom regulatory reporting platform
• Experience with Kyvos
• Previous involvement in regulatory change implementation or system enhancements
