Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Quantitative Developer to support a capital markets trading desk focused on structured rates, interest rates, and fixed income products at one of the big banks DT Toronto. This is a hybrid role will be 4 day on site and combining technical excel/VBA/python development with direct collaboration with traders. You will support on-desk solutions for traders in curve management, pricing, risk reporting and market data

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent Front Office Business Knowledge in Interest Rates - 5 years
• Experience with Excel - 5 years
• Experience with VBA - 5 years
• Experience with Python - 2 years
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across a variety of disciplines – traders, technology, peers
• Ability to talk to traders and take requirements
• Ability to gather requirements and scope features
• Strong, confident communication skills
• Bloomberg experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Plotly Dash and building dashboards in Python
• Experience in C#
• Performing similar on-desk trader tools role
• Great communication skills
