Job Description

The Project Manager will play a critical role within the Commercial Banking Project Management Office (PMO), leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives that drive strategic transformation across the business. This role requires a seasoned project leader with strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep project management expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects within the Commercial Banking portfolio.

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and workstream structures.

Ensure alignment to PMO standards, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.

Drive execution discipline, ensuring milestones, scope, budget, and timelines are met.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
Partner with senior leaders, business owners, and cross-functional teams to define project objectives and success measures.

Facilitate decision-making, build consensus, and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.

Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status reports, and steering committee materials.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and interdependencies.

Escalate critical items with clear recommendations and action plans.

Ensure transparent tracking and resolution to maintain project momentum.

Analysis & Problem-Solving
Synthesize complex business and technical information into clear, actionable insights.

Support business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and scenario modeling.

Evaluate impacts of proposed changes and recommend optimal paths forward.

Change Management Support
Partner with change management teams to support adoption planning, stakeholder readiness, and communication strategies.

Ensure project outcomes are embedded into business operations and sustained post‑implementation.

Experience & Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in project or program management roles.

Proven experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, ideally within financial services or commercial banking.

Familiarity with service model redesign, process optimization, and digital enablement initiatives.

Experience presenting to senior leadership, steering committees, and governance bodies.
