Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a .net developer for a capital markets/commercial banking project. In this role you will lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence related to money movement, payments and payment management. To be successful you will have extensive expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Domain-Oriented Architecture, Clean Architecture, or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced coding practices, design patterns, and software architecture principles. In this role, you will lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience - development and architecture
- Experience with C# and python
- Experience w. Azure
Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Domain-Oriented Architecture (DOA), Clean Architecture, or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Strong experience with design patterns such as:
Creational Patterns: Factory, Builder.
Structural Patterns: Decorator, Adapter, Composite.
Behavioral Patterns: Observer, Command, Strategy.
Strong experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and optimizing database performance.
Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and OpenShift, as well as container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
Proficient in RESTful API design and integration using Azure APIM.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Event-Driven Architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions.
Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases and caching technologies.
Educational Background:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
