Modern Deployment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Autopilot / Modern Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale transformation from traditional on prem device management to a modern, cloud based deployment model. This role is a key part of the organization’s modern management agenda, focused on transitioning from SCCM/OSD to Microsoft Autopilot and Intune for end user device provisioning. This is a hands-on, design-and-build role working primarily in a cloud-based lab environment, with the flexibility to work remotely. Occasional onsite work is required for physical device testing in downtown Toronto.

You will:
• Design, configure, and implement Microsoft Autopilot solutions for end to end device provisioning
• Develop and maintain Intune-based automation, including configuration profiles and deployment workflows
• Build, test, and deploy PowerShell scripts through Intune
• Configure and manage Autopilot profiles aligned to user experience and security requirements
• Own the end to end device lifecycle, from “box to user”

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing modern endpoint management solutions
• Hands-on expertise with:
o Microsoft Autopilot
o Microsoft Intune (including automation built on Intune)
o PowerShell scripting
o Entra ID (Azure AD), including groups and identity fundamentals critical to Autopilot/Intune
• Intune policy configuration experience including device configuration, compliance and application configuration
• Knowledge of on-premises group policy and group policy preferences to modern cloud-based policy
• Prior experience earlier in career with SCCM and MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, self starter mindset
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and leading through influence

• Experience in financial institutions (FI) or similar enterprise environments
