Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Business Analyst to support business-as-usual operations within a banking environment. This role is ideal for someone who has gained experience in a professional setting and is ready to contribute independently from day one.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing daily requests, performing data quality reviews, validating information across systems, and ensuring data integrity. This is not a traditional project-focused Business Analyst position; rather, it is a hands-on operational role requiring strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to investigate issues independently.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, asking questions, and digging into the details. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for accuracy, learns quickly, and takes ownership of their work rather than waiting for direction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Manage and process daily requests received through a shared team inbox.
• Review requests for completeness and proactively investigate missing information.
• Validate data across multiple systems and databases to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and governance-related activities.
• Verify appropriate approvals, supporting documentation, and compliance with internal processes.
• Conduct research and analysis to resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Create and maintain documentation related to requests and completed activities.
• Support ongoing business-as-usual operations while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive requests to completion.
• Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accountability.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience supporting business-as-usual operational processes.
• SQL proficiency (simple joins, data validation queries, basic troubleshooting).
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, and business rules.

Desired Characteristics
• Naturally curious and investigative mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proactive problem solver who looks beyond the initial request.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a steady flow of incoming requests.
• Able to identify potential issues before they become larger problems.
