Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Asset Management Analyst with advanced Power BI skills to join an advanced team.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in IT asset management, software management, data analysis, and have strong presentation and communication abilities. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing IT assets, ensuring software compliance, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders through advanced reporting and visualization. The successful candidate will also play a key role in investigating ungoverned software, identifying ownership, and addressing security and compliance risks.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3+ year of experience in IT asset management and software management in a medium to large-scale organization.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI for data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Experience investigating ungoverned or unauthorized software and working with security teams to address vulnerabilities.
Familiarity with ITAM tools and processes;
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience supporting software audits and compliance initiatives.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770) is an asset.
Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBi).
Understanding of software audit processes, compliance requirements, and contract management.
Project management experience and/or certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is an asset.
Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ITAM platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-based software models (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
