Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technology Project Manager to support a large financial services client within the banking sector. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of application initiatives, working closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution. This role is not a Scrum Master or Business Project Manager position — it requires a strong technology and application delivery background.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading complex application delivery initiatives in a financial services or banking environment, with a preference for candidates who have supported CIBC or similar Tier-1 banks.

Responsibilities include the below :
-Own end-to-end delivery of technology and application initiatives from intake through production release
-Lead planning, execution, and delivery across multiple application workstreams
-Partner with engineering, architecture, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to drive delivery outcomes
-Manage delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues across complex technology programs
-Translate high-level business requirements into executable delivery plans
-Ensure alignment between technology teams and business stakeholders
-Provide regular delivery status updates to senior technology and business leadership
-Drive accountability across delivery teams while ensuring adherence to enterprise delivery standards
-Support release planning, production readiness, and post-implementation activities

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years of experience in technology delivery or application delivery management
-Proven experience delivering enterprise applications end-to-end
-Strong technology background (application development, systems integration, or engineering exposure)
-Experience working in financial services / banking environments is mandatory
-Demonstrated ability to manage delivery across multiple technology teams
-Experience working within enterprise SDLC and governance frameworks
-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
-Ability to operate in complex, matrixed enterprise environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Previous experience supporting CIBC or another Tier-1 Canadian bank
-Background delivering applications within regulated environments
-Experience coordinating across security, risk, and compliance teams
-Exposure to cloud-based or modernized application platforms
-Prior experience in large-scale digital or transformation initiatives
