Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Analyst to join a large Tech Consulting company onsite in Toronto ON. This individual will support and enhance the modern systems, tools, and processes that enable teams across the business to operate effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role combines end-user support, IT operations, security initiatives, systems administration, documentation, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is curious, highly adaptable, and eager to contribute beyond ticket resolution by driving consistency, operational excellence, and scalable support processes. The Client operates within a modern cloud-based technology ecosystem, leveraging tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Atlassian Cloud, AWS, and various SaaS platforms. Candidates coming from similarly modern technology environments will be most successful in this role.

Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees across a variety of platforms and tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Cloud, MacOS, mobile devices, endpoint protection solutions, and cloud-based services.
• Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and identity management through Okta and other cloud-based identity platforms.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT on security and compliance initiatives including ISO27001, ISO42001, SOC2 Type II, and related audit programs.
• Participate in security investigations, evidence collection, remediation efforts, and ongoing compliance activities.
• Design, implement, and improve internal IT policies, operational procedures, and support processes.
• Administer hardware procurement, deployment, inventory management, and device lifecycle management.
• Manage software licensing and SaaS application access across the organization.
• Develop and maintain internal documentation, knowledge bases, user guides, and process documentation while leading documentation cleanup and optimization efforts.
• Evaluate, test, and implement new technologies, tools, and vendors to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with various business teams and assist with onsite technology operations and initiatives.
• Support project-based work related to infrastructure, security, and operational improvements in addition to day-to-day user support activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Requirements
• 5+ years of experience supporting MacOS environments within a modern SaaS or technology-focused organization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Cloud (Jira), and cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Experience administering Identity Providers (IdP) such as Okta, including user lifecycle management and access governance.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Mosyle, Jamf, NinjaOne, Intune, or similar solutions.
• Experience supporting security and compliance programs, including frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO42001, SOC2, or similar standards.
• Proven ability to work within cloud-first environments rather than traditional on-premise infrastructure
• Familiarity with modern AI and productivity tools such as Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and other emerging agentic technologies.

• Experience with secure software development practices.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, migrations, or system transformations.
• Previous involvement in knowledge management, documentation cleanup, data validation, or wiki optimization initiatives.
• Experience supporting growing organizations undergoing rapid change and evolving technology landscapes.
