nsight Global is looking to hire a Finance Manager for our client, one of the big five banks. You will be joining the Enterprise Project Finance team and will be reporting into the Senior Relationship Manager. You will be one of five other Finance Managers on the team. The teams main responsibility is to support enterprise-wide expenses management and drive the agenda for project prioritization.
In your role, you will provide end-to-end financial support to assigned portfolios by working on:
Financial Reporting (30%)
-Supporting month-end and quarterly-end reporting for the assigned portfolio.
-Managing financial aspects of project tracking and reporting, ensuring alignment with monthly/annual fiscal budgets. Note: Assigned projects will generally be larger, complex (i.e., multi-delivery, multi-year, cross-funded, split-funded, etc.)
-Providing input to Technology and Segment finance teams for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning.
-Delivering financial and strategic analysis and insights for senior executive/management teams.
Business Cases (35%)
-Monthly and quarterly review of actuals and forecasts against the plan.
-Working with business sponsors, project managers, and segment finance to develop and review business case financials.
-Ensuring financial and accounting standards are followed and properly reflected in business cases.
-Acting as a subject matter expert on processes and controls around project authorizations, business cases, FPT, and tracking the financial impact of projects.
Project Facilitation (35%)
-Participating in annual portfolio planning and financial forecast cycles.
-Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (Segment Finance Partners, TS, Operations, Shared Services, PDG, Business Management, Governance, etc.).
-Providing thought leadership and driving change by improving governance and processes.

-University Degree (finance/accounting/economics preferred).
-5+ years of professional experience in financial planning, analytics, project costing/business cases.
-Understanding of financial statements and investment valuations/analysis
-Experience providing project financial support (projects up to $50 MM)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering presentations to all audiences
-Strong stakeholder management skills working with business partners and high-level leadership
-Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and Project Management Tools (Clarity)
