Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Security Enterprise Architect to join a large client in the GTA on a hybrid basis. In this role, the Security Architect will be contributing to a 5-year strategy and roadmap that guides specialized security teams in technology and process domains. They will be responsible for analyzing the existing landscape, detailing processes, owners, and supported technologies at a logical level. They will engage in cost-risk conversation where they will assess gaps and trade-offs. With a unique perspective, focusing on the physical layer, the Architect will fill a critical gap within the entire organization.
They will also be responsible for maintaining an artifact library that represents the clients' technology and security landscape. Providing leadership and strategic direction, the Architect will oversee infrastructure and security for IT/Operations Technology architecture. They'll manage a team of system architecture specialists, optimizing asset utilization. Collaboration with various departments and vendors will be crucial in executing architecture activities. They will assist directors and aligned architects in work and resource planning, setting technology security visions and strategies -- offering guidance on investments, identifying technology and security needs, and contributing to strategic business planning processes.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of IT/OT technical and security architecture experience
Must have security exposure at the ENTERPRISE level -- i.e. Past role having helped define where the company needs to go -- built a security roadmap that aligns with business units and their plans
Team leadership with a strategic advisory and mentoring role
Proven role in defining company direction and building a security roadmap aligned with business units
Proficiency in creating and maintaining an artifact library focusing on security for multiple IT groups
Leadership experience, including sponsorship of key organizational initiatives
Expertise in career development supporting growth strategies
Familiarity with COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent frameworks
Demonstrated knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture capabilities
Experience in financial management and control, ability to assess enterprise risk, and recommend remediation
Strong relationship skills and ability to influence others/behaviour
Effective leadership and collaboration in multi-team environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Security certifications such as CISAAP-ISSAP, CCSP, or equivalent
Deployment experience of security solutions at a tactical level, moving into Enterprise level later in career
