Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a large banking client in downtown Toronto. This candidate will join a team of developers within the treasury/finance team leading a large in-house migration project. Will be responsible for building CI/CD pipelines, software testing and configuration. This role required candidates to be on-site 4 days per week in downtown Toronto.

Required Skills & Experience

- Excellent problem-solving skills, engineering mindset (must be able to demonstrate this in interviews)
- Windows administration experience
- Configuration management tools e.g. SALT, Ansible or CHEF
- Development/Engineering experience e.g. Java, C#, .NET, Shell, Python
- Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, Nexus or similar toolsets
- Database experience, maintaining and managing MsSQL databases
- Cloud experience e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure Services including IaaS, AKS, ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Blob, Event Hub and more

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Linux
- IaC tools e.g. Terraform, Azure ARM templates
- High-Performance Computing clusters (e.g. HPC Pack)
- Big data platform including but not limited to Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Zookeeper, Kafka
- Veracode, SonarQube
- SOA, Microservices architecture
- Splunk, DataDog, ITRS, Sensu, Foglight, ELK
- AutoSys, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
