Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with a Branch Operations background to support a high-impact initiative focused on identifying cash-related behavior across branches. The team utilizes excel data to monitor pattern and behaviours as it relates to cash management. Success for the role is to identify irregular behaviour and leverage internal tools provided to assess daily investigation and identify the current gap. The secondary responsibility will be to identify process improvement opportunities within the daily process to increase productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
• Daily review and investigation of suspicious activity reports generated via Excel.
• Analyze two key reports:
• Identify new instances requiring investigation.
• Conduct preliminary assessments using provided business rules.
• Escalate confirmed issues to the appropriate team.
• Recommend improvements to streamline and enhance the interim manual process.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine logic and support future automation efforts.
Must Have
• Strong proficiency in Excel (no complex queries required).
• Experience with branch operations, especially cash handling (ordering, counting, reconciliation).
• Analytical mindset with ability to spot irregularities and apply business logic.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform, or Power Apps is a plus for future automation efforts.
