Job Description

We are seeking a Content Designer who will contribute to the advancement of digital personalization strategy for .com for a Big 5 Canadian banking clinet by crafting clear, consistent, and user‑centered content experiences informed by data, search intelligence, and user behavior. This role is responsible for developing scalable and accessible content frameworks that leverage AI‑enhanced search, SEO‑aligned content architecture, and GEO‑based insights to deliver highly relevant and contextually meaningful digital interactions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in content strategy and UX writing, demonstrates curiosity about emerging technologies, and has the ability to translate complex personalization logic into straightforward, intuitive, and human‑centric content. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to
collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary digital environment.

Key responsibilities
• Works independently, or with oversight from more senior content designers, on
• content design projects that are concisely defined or contain limited unknowns.
• Collaborates effectively with working teams
• Works on technical problems with small to large scope, asks questions to confirm
• and validate requirements to execute on deliverables
• Works on content problems with relatively small scope/requirements? and asks
• questions to ensure they have all relevant information to create solutions
• Able to improve existing content by ensuring writing complies with technical input
• constrains and design module builds within our Content Management System
• (CMS) with a focus on accessibility.
• Self-managed to execute on content QA process and procedures and content
• intake management by following content authorship roles and responsibilities
• Can produce well-crafted content deliverables that meet stated requirements
• Able to iterate rapidly, create multiple solutions
• Strong attention to detail in using correct grammar, consistency, and following
• defined content guidelines
• Self-directed and meets deadline
• Listens to feedback and incorporates it appropriately with help from mentors /
Managers
• Works effectively with PM, content, design, development and other cross-functional partners to understand problem, goals and arrive at best solution
• Can solicit, weigh and integrate diverse feedback from multi-disciplinary
stakeholders
• Clearly communicates decision-making rationale to team members
Participate in team activities and actively share their work and learnings

• 3+ years content design/UX writing experience
• Content design for web
• SEO experience
• Accessibility WCAG 2.1
• Headless CMS experience (Sanity, Drupal, Contentful)
• Experience using AI tools for content design (Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, other LLM)
• Proficiency in Figma
• Agile delivery experience
• Strong collaboration skills across diverse stakeholder groups
Excellent communication skills; dependable and proactive in driving clarity about user needs and business objectives
