Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Information Security Consultant with a focus on security containerization. They will lead the enhancement and evolution of container security capabilities across the organization.
Define and improve onboarding processes, usage standards, and reporting frameworks for containerized environments.
Partner with engineering and security teams to design and operationalize container security solutions.
Support proof of concepts (POCs) and evaluate security tools to determine best fit for the environment.
Develop and refine processes for runtime security monitoring, ensuring visibility into threats such as unauthorized access, crypto mining, and file system changes.
Work closely with DevOps teams to embed container security into CI/CD pipelines and overall development workflows.
Drive reporting and insights from security tools, helping stakeholders understand risk posture and remediation priorities.
Establish best practices and governance for container security without directly executing scans or testing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in container security within enterprise environments, preferably a major North American bank
- Hands-on experience with container platforms including OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with runtime security monitoring including:
Unauthorized access attempts
Crypto mining detection
File system integrity changes
- Proven ability to enhance and mature container security programs (onboarding, adoption, and reporting)
- Experience defining security processes and operating models rather than performing hands-on scanning/testing
- Comfortable working with security tooling to define solutions, support POCs, and establish operational frameworks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Aqua Security or similar container security platforms
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC integration
