Insight Global is seeking a Civil Lawyer to join a well-established boutique law firm in Toronto that has been serving the community for over 35 years. This is a unique opportunity to work with a small, dedicated team that values integrity, client advocacy, and legal excellence.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in civil litigation, with a deep understanding of Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS) and Legal Expense Insurance (LET). Youll be joining a firm that prioritizes personalized service and direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of civil litigation files including personal injury, insurance disputes, and employment law.
Interpret and apply statutory frameworks such as SABS and LET to guide case strategy.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear, empathetic communication.

LL.B or J.D. from a recognized Canadian law school.
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
Proven knowledge of Statutory Accident Benefits and Legal Expense Insurance.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting.
