Job Description

As a Business Solutions Consultant at a Big 5 Bank, you will collaborate closely with various teams to drive efficiency and cost optimization across multiple business areas. The mandate of this role will focus on sizing and solutioning cost optimization projects for branch operations and technology. Your role will involve:

Project Sizing and Solutions: Handling a diverse range of tasks, including sizing projects and proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Digital Transformation: Leading initiatives to digitize processes, such as improving ATM refill methods and branch maintenance procedures.
Collaborative Efforts: Working alongside other team members rather than independently, ensuring a cohesive approach to problem-solving and solution implementation.
Business Case Development: Crafting compelling business cases, building models in Excel, and providing necessary inputs to support decision-making.
Cost Optimization: Identifying opportunities to centralize repairs and maintenance, aiming for a 5-10% cost reduction. You will articulate the rationale, story, and next steps for these initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Management: Offering a flavor of project management by packaging out tasks at an epic level and engaging relevant teams.
Business Analysis: Providing a business analysis perspective without taking on a full BA role, and handing over detailed tasks to dedicated Business Analysts.
Solution Architecture: Collaborating with solution architects to ensure seamless integration of proposed solutions.
Automation Opportunities: Exploring and implementing automation opportunities within operations to drive efficiency and cost savings.
