Job Description

As a Business Analyst in CIBC’s Treasury department, you will support strategic initiatives and projects across Treasury. You’ll act as a liaison between business and infrastructure partners, providing analytical insights, project delivery support, and post-mortem evaluations of key transactions. This role is ideal for candidates with strong financial acumen, technical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Commerce, or Accounting.
-2-5 years of experience in banking, risk, capital markets, or treasury.
-Proficiency in SQL and VBA for data analysis and troubleshooting.
-Experience with trading/reporting systems and general ledger structures.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Designation such as CFA, CPA
