Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions across complex, data‑driven initiatives. This role will lead requirements management activities, working closely with Product Owners, Agile delivery teams, data teams, and stakeholders to define, document, and deliver high‑quality business and system requirements. The BSA will develop deep subject‑matter expertise in contact center platforms and associated data ecosystems, supporting re‑platforming and modernization initiatives. The individual will be responsible for translating business processes into functional and non‑functional requirements, mapping current‑state to target‑state data flows, and ensuring solutions align with organizational goals, quality standards, and risk controls. The role also includes strong stakeholder engagement, documentation ownership, and the ability to identify opportunities where AI and advanced analytics can enhance contact center operations and business processes.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong Business Systems Analysis experience leading requirements (use cases, user stories, functional & non‑functional requirements) in Agile environments
• Proven ability to bridge business and technology, translating business needs into technical specifications and Jira stories (Confluence‑first documentation)
• Hands‑on data analysis and data mapping experience, including source‑to‑target mapping for re‑platform or modernization initiatives
• Strong SQL skills to extract current‑state data and business rules from legacy systems
• Experience working with APIs and databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB) and producing API documentation (Swagger, Postman)
• Ability to define data quality rules, create data dictionaries, and document end‑to‑end data flows/process diagrams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting contact center platforms or customer interaction systems
• Background in marketing technology or digital public‑facing web platforms (preferably in banking)
• Exposure to AI / ML use cases, including automation, predictive analytics, or process optimization
• Experience identifying opportunities to apply AI to business processes or data workflows
Financial services or large‑enterprise environment experience
