Backend Java Developer

Insight Global is looking for a Backend Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Spark Databricks, and REST API. The ideal candidate should possess strong scripting skills and have experience working in cloud environments. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Spring Boot.
Optimize data processing and storage with Data Lakehouse architectures.
Implement and manage Spark Databricks pipelines for data processing.
Create and maintain automation and system management scripts using Linux or PowerShell.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in SDLC knowledge.

5+ Years of experience with Java 8 and Spring Boot
Expertise in Spark Databricks for big data processing
Proficiency In scripting with Linux or PowerShell scripting
Experience with REST API

Experience with Azure SQL and ASE
Knowledge on Event Hub, HashiCorp Vault or equivalent
Experience with Azure Functions for serverless computing.
Familiar with observability tools like Datadog
Experience with Autosys for jobs scheduling
