Insight Global is looking to hire a hybrid App Support/QA to join one of the big bangs Global Derivatives Team to support the modernization of regulatory reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has a solid foundation in Python and SQL, and a keen interest in capital markets products and regulatory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide level 1/2 support for regulatory platforms including monitoring, troubleshooting, and triage.
- Assist in developing and running Python and SQL-based reports using Jupyter Notebooks.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of API-driven integrations with trading, risk, and reporting systems.
- Conduct data analysis to support reconciliation, exception management, and ad hoc reporting.
- Document support procedures, common issues, and solutions in operational runbooks.

- 1-3 years experience in a technical support, operations, or data role in financial services or a similarly complex domain.
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API-driven system architecture. (Swagger, Open AI, API Testing, https, protocols etc)
- QA experience
- Exposure to capital markets, trade lifecycle, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR,
SFTR).
Experience using Jupyter Notebooks.
